I’m excited to announce the fourth book in the Mind’s Eye Series! This series is a collaboration between authors (me included!), poets, and photographers. It works like this: The photographers provide us with photos and nothing more. We don’t get background information or tidbits about the photos. The authors and poets then write a story/poem inspired by each image we receive.
It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.
– Henry David Thoreau
As you might have guessed by today’s blog title, the theme for book 4 is chocolate! And here is our very cool cover:
The cover photo was taken by Helle Gade, a contributing photographer and poet, and the cover design is by Kat McCarthy at Aeternum Designs.
Tales From The Cacao Tree is available as a pre-order on Amazon for only 99 cents! The price goes up to $3.99 on release day, so grab a copy before November 16th. This book contains 22 photos, with 12 stories and 10 poems. Contributors are: Ben Ditmars, J. Michael Radcliffe, Maria Savva, Darcia Helle, Richard Weatherly, Julie Elizabeth Powell, Helle Gade, Kim Stapf, and Martin David Porter, All stories and poems were edited by the brilliant Robert Helle! (And, no, we’re not related so I don’t have to say that.)
Here’s a look at the first three books in the Mind’s Eye Series:
We hope you’ll join us in our quest to find the story behind the image. What do you see when you look? Share your thoughts with us. We’d love to hear from you!
Thanks for reading. 🙂
