A Word Please

I spent this past weekend working on my website. I’ve uploaded new content – free downloads! For the past month or so, I’ve been working on a couple of projects, a kind of thank you for my readers. I’m excited to finally share these things!

First: I’ve created an ebook called A Word Please: Conversations with 24 Authors. This is a compilation of all the interviews I’ve done here on my blog between January 1 and June 30 of this year. Along with the interviews, you’ll find cover images of the books discussed, author bios, and contact information. It’s available as a free download in PDF or Word format. The reason I put this together is simple. Some time ago, I realized I’ve had some incredibly talented guests, and we’ve had great conversations. Some are funny, others are serious. All give tremendous insight into the people behind the words. I didn’t want these pieces falling off into the abyss. A blog post’s life is usually short-lived. Now they are all combined in one easily accessible place. Not only is this a fun piece of entertainment, but it’s also a handy guide to books you might like to read.

If there is enough interest, I plan to go back and compile the interviews from last year into two more volumes. So please let me know if you download and enjoy this ebook!

Next, I’ve created a word puzzle book for no other reason than to thank you all for reading. Included are 44 cryptograms, 9 word searches, and 1 crossword. These puzzles all relate to my various books. You can download this one in PDF or Word format, as well.

Finally, I’ve added an excerpt from Secrets, my upcoming novel. I’m doing a few last minute, minor edits, and awaiting the back cover design. If all goes well, this one will be out before my September 1st goal!

While I was working on uploading content, I also made some minor design changes to my pages. I do all my web design and maintenance myself, which has been a learning process. At the start, I knew nothing about web design. I continue to learn and, hopefully, improve my site along the way. I did learn something major during my weekend marathon. I have far too many web pages!
