I have a YouTube channel! Making videos and trailers are creative projects I enjoy doing. Not that I needed another project. I seem to collect projects in the way kids collect rocks or stamps. Do kids even collect stamps, anymore?
Excuse my wandering brain. Back to YouTube. Aside from the enjoyment of making trailers, I also enjoy promoting my fellow authors. (The talented ones, of course! ) Then I had this epiphany. A YouTube channel would be an ideal way to promote all my BestsellerBound friends in one place. I could tie it in with our new BestsellerBound Recommends blog. And making the videos is the perfect thing for me to do when the Lyme is melting my brain cells and thinking is far too difficult. Like now.
I’ve already made and uploaded several video trailers. Each features 10 titles. They’re about 2 minutes long and are a great way to find new authors and books for your to-read list. I have plans for video podcast interviews that I hope to get started on soon. And I’m trying to find a way to upload content from my fellow authors, though YouTube is touchy about licensing and whose videos I upload to “my” channel.
I would love for you all to take a look and I’d do my happy dance if you were inclined to ‘like’ a few of the videos and even subscribe to the channel: www.YouTube.com/QuietFuryBooks
Here are a couple videos for you to sample:
I hope you enjoyed the videos, and that you’ll take the time to explore my new YouTube channel!
Thanks for reading – and watching.
