Even people with similar tastes will disagree on certain things. I've stumbled upon that problem a couple of times and it's always a dilemma on how to handle the review. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I gave someone a few hours of enjoyment through my books. It's a feeling I can't describe. I think the most recent one, The Lion the Lamb, the Hunted, would be good one for a character study. Just my personal opinion, but Patrick is so rich with depth and flaws. I would NEVER want to be a character in one of his books and yet found I could easily get into the characters. Neither of his books are my genre of choice and I thoroughly enjoyed them both. Simply put, good writing is good writing and a great story tells it all. Drew knows how to tell a good story in a way that will have you hooked from the beginning. His work is refreshing.
